agreed... but like Maestro said its want the league wants u to do. Tweety is very right with what she (he?) said but players dont want to be in the developmental league when they can be fulfiling a dream of the NBA by going to college to play ball. Notice i said NBA first. I understand there is an age requirement but if Derrick Rose is on the board he doesnt have to go #1 being a high schooler. Why wouldnt a GM select the more proven player? Because they dont wanna be the guy that passed up on MJ and alot of the HS players become superstars. Lord knows theres alot of dirt on all sides, STERN, College recruitment, College players, hell referees..... I think Rose's got exposed and now the school hurts but oh well. Still a good season. cant take away that fact that WE all watched it. they take away the wins but the * is still there for what they did do. BTW: No NBA cant expel him. He fulfiled the one year removed deal because he entered the draft a year later. regardless if they took his name out of Memphis's books or not. it's jus in the books now that he sat out a year and entered.

The is nothing that says that has to go to college and be eligible for a season to be in the NBA.....he only has to be 19 or 1 year after his class graduates. He will not be punished by the NBA

You're eligible for the NBA draft if you're one year or more out of high school. It is not necessary to play college basketball to be eligible for the NBA. It's an age thing, nothing to do with how much college ball you play. But you're eligible for the NBA draft if one NBA season has elapsed since your high school graduation. So Rose is not affected as far as NBA eligibility. It was not necessary for him to play at Memphis to be eligible for NBA play.

Unfortunately no, the University of Memphis will forfeit 38 wins from 2 years ago. It will be as if that Final Four Appearance and National Championship Game never happened. Derrick Rose will get off scot free. Who says crime doesn't pay?

No.. this is not high school. it's the NBA! He broke no rules, in fact, he did just what the NBA wants guys that young to do, 1 year of college.. anyway possible so the NBA looks good. GO LAKERS!!!

No. What happened in College has nothing to do with him in the NBA.
