Absolutely nothing surprises me about "W"aste Product and those who were unlucky enough to work for him! Even the VP/puppet master himself, ventriloquist, Big Dick "Halliburton" Cheney recently criticized Bush for too soft and worried about public opinion and his legacy in his second term in office. First Karl Rove, Colin Powell, then Cheney, now Ridge, I'm really not at all that surprised! Wasn't Condie Rice the only one left from his original cabinet, who was promoted from Secretary of Transportation to Secretary of State?! Even Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumpsfeld, quit before the end of the administration! Bush would NOT listen to anyone! Bush was stubborn as a mule, especially when it came to Iraq and hunting down Saddam for Daddy! The so-called Intelligence, more like the oxymoron 'military intelligence' for the WMD's proved totally manufactured so why not manipulate the threat level for political gain, also? "W"aste Product kept circling the drain, unfortunately he took our economy with him from eight years of debacle, spending trillions of dollars unnecessarily on Iraq's infrastructure instead of our own and wasting more than 4,000 US soldiers lives unnecessarily in his war of choice, looking for the wrong man, in the wrong country, for non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction, while Osama bin Laden, the true terrorist responsible for the 9/11/01 attacks on US remained/s at large!

If you haven't noticed, the majority of those on Capitol Hill haven't been able to use their brain for awhile now. So, why would one more lacky make a difference? I admit Bush was not the right candidate for his second term, but neither was Kerry, and thank God for that. Bush, in my opinion, is just too democratic. I was hoping they would opt illegal immigration into a felony-- as most countries hand out bizzarre punishment for the such.. Why can't we? Or is everyone just a hypocrite? I'm not sorry for wanting my country to be safe. And recently, it's been quite scary for children. Soon, it will be tumultuous even for us adults.

No news here. He simply confirmed, from the Republican side of the aisle, what most of us knew all along.

common tactic by our politicians. If you don't vote for me the terrorist win. This health plan is vital economic recovery... It always is a power grab. Never trust a politician

To which I can only reply "duh". If someone didn't notice that terror alerts tended to coincide with polling dips, they probably aren't going to believe former Secretary Ridge now. What I found more disturbing than that, were his allegations that the FBI wasn't sharing information with DHS. What's the point of creating such a gigantic bureaucracy as DHS, to oversee homeland security, if it's primary investigative arm doesn't share information?

Standard answer from the right will be: 1) Deflect "its not as bad as what Obama is doing" 2) Disgrace the source"hes just saying that because he's really a socialist" 3) Deny "Its not true, they were only there to protect us" 4) Redirect " Yeah, but Obama is worse. 5) when it gets bad, throw in something about Hitler, Nazis, socialism, or veiled racist sayings.

I believe that if read read the Atlantic that I have a national enquirer article that says Obama is really Osama bin Laden (and it will have more credibility)

Nothing about that crook would surprise me.

Not at all surprised. When it was happening, I assumed that was what was going on because it was so obvious.

He was my governor when I lived in PA. I am a liberal and he was a pretty good governor. I think McCain made a huge mistake in allowing the conserves to push him into taking Palin and not Ridge for VP.
